Who We Are
We are Smari and Fofiu – founders of Lufu and two passionate photographers, based in Coventry, West Midlands.
We’ve met in 2019 and soon realized that we work great together. Since then, we’ve collaborated on several projects and in 2022 we’ve decided to embark on a new adventure together: Lufu Weddings.
Our main goal is to authentically capture your day so you can reminisce over every single smile and tear of joy.
Our secret recipe is based on a balanced mix between documentary and posed photography with a special focus on what YOU want.
We are approachable, adapatable and ready to make your dreams come true.
Throughout our photographic journey we have shot everything from product to lifestyle, to fashion and events.
It was only when we started shooting weddings, that we felt we found our true calling. We absolutely love everything about these special days and the energy of the people involved. We consider ourselves honoured to have the opportunity to capture such emotional moments and gift them back to the bride and groom.

Our greatest advantage is the fact that we are like yin and yang: we use our natural complementary strengths to create an amazing experience for our bride and groom.
On a first impression, Fofiu might seem shy and calm. However, she’s the one with a great humour, contagious laugh and an extensive background in journalism that has developed her ability to observe and capture the sweetest human interactions.
On the other hand, Smari might seem like she takes things too serious sometimes, but she loves interacting with new people. She is the one to show off on the dance floor, but also the one who keeps everyone in control to get those awesome group shots done quickly.
